    Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) can magnify a sample up to 500,000x, this high-resolution imaging is useful for evaluating various materials for surface fractures, corrosion or contaminants.

    Used in conjunction with SEM, Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) provides elemental analysis or chemical characterization of sample surfaces or target examination areas.
