CT scanning is an imaging technique that uses computer-processed combinations of multiple X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce tomographic (cross-sectional) images of materials.
SGS can scan specimens as small as a few millimeters and as large as a few feet. It is also possible to use contrast agents to highlight specific features such as defects or cracks.
Contact SGS Polymer Solutions to discuss your specific sample requirements for CT testing.
SGS Polymer Solutions has used CT scanning to identify defects from cracks to voids and establish a dimensional analysis that could be done no other way.
